Pretty Party Bunting

As I mentioned last post, I'm planning to have a tea party to celebrate my 20th birthday. So far I have collected some pretty floral vintage tea cups, plates and a tea pot as well as lots of other random goods such as doilies and table cloths to use. I also found an amazing vintage canister thing that I am pretty sure is my most favourite thing I have ever found while op-shopping... it is just so cute! I will definitely need to share it here sometime! Anyway, in order to match all of the floral goodness I decided to make some floral bunting flags to use for decoration.

I used mainly vintage fabrics (because lets face it vintage fabric is the best!) and added a few doily flags to give it a little something extra.

Pretty scraps.

So yes... I'm very happy with how it turned out and I don't think I'll ever get over how pretty vintage fabric is! I've made quite a lot of bunting over the past couple of years and it's nice to finally make some for myself to keep and use for my own special occasions.

A day well spent...

So tomorrow I have another market on and this morning I worked on some new pretty floral accessories for the stall. They turned out perfect! And I even decided to keep a pair of the small, dark pink earrings for myself ;) Today I also went on a road trip to Deloraine with some friends and we had such a great time! We taste tested the local produce, visited the op-shops, had some delicious lunch and discovered new and exciting vintage shops! I managed to find a very cute, handmade dress and some pretty vintage fabric. A day well spent I think!

Lovely Things: Mustard Yellow

Mustard yellow is one of my all time favourite colours! I absolutely love it and I don't think I will ever get tired of it! Today I found some lovely mustard things while on pinterest and I thought I would share them here :)
