Hobart + Alpine

Hobart this weekend was spectacular! Definitely one of the best weekends I have had in a while. On Friday night we went and watched the band Alpine and they were amazing! Totally blew my mind! If you haven't heard any of their stuff yet then you should have a listen to them. The following day was a typical gorgeous Hobart day... we went to Salamanca Market, did a little shopping in Hobart city, visited the pretty new T2 shop, had fish and chips from Flippers and went for a drive up Mount Wellington. A great weekend all round.

Here are a few things I'm getting up to this weekend:

• Renting out The Hunger Games to watch tonight! I loved this movie and am really looking forward to seeing it again.
• Visiting all kinds of markets on Saturday morning. Will probably go to Harvest farmers market first, then to Inveresk to visit the Niche market and then hopefully to the Flourish conference market if I have time!
• Doing a little bit of shopping. Dad gave me some money to buy a new pair of jeans for myself as a birthday present after I had complained about only having one pair. He is too kind sometimes :)
• Getting spoilt on Sunday. Matt and my lovely friend Natalie have planned a surprise for me and I am dying to know what it is! I'm actually quite impressed that they haven't caved in and told me yet!

Yay! The weekend is finally here! This weekend I have a few fun things planned... Firstly, tomorrow morning Matt and I are planning to go to the Harvest farmers market to taste some delicious local produce and have some yummy breakfast. Then we are finally going to go to have a look at the new milkbar cafe! I'm so excited to check it out! 

Today I spent the day cleaning and re-organising my room and sewing space. It is so nice to have a fresh space to work in! It has inspired me to start making some new clothes for winter... hopefully I'll be able to get started on some new things tomorrow! But as for now it is time to relax in front of the fire with my book (reading The Hunger Games at the moment... SO GOOD!) and a nice cup of tea... Oh I love this time of year!

Finally the weekend is here after a long and busy week! This weekend I plan to catch up with my best friend, do a bit of shopping, work on some exciting new products (I have another market in exactly one week!), and have some quality down time with my Matt. I'm definitely going to take it very easy as I know next week will be just as busy as this week was. I hope you all have a lovely weekend too!
