My Finished Blanket

Over the Easter weekend I finally finished this medallion square crochet blanket that I had been working on for over a year! The pattern is based on an old vintage pattern but I changed it up a bit to make it look like a blanket I saw on-line once. I am really pleased with it, I love the colours and the pattern worked out really well! I have also decided to enter this blanket in the Element Eden Knit Off Competition! Are you entering anything? Element Eden 'Knit Off' Pack

Element Eden Winter 2013

The first day of Autumn is officially here in Australia! As you may know, autumn is my favourite season... I just love it when it starts to cool down and everything becomes so beautiful and cosy. The pictures above are from Element Edens 2013 winter lookbook. Element Eden is one of my favourite brands and they do such an amazing job at styling their lookbooks. This one makes me so excited to start sipping tea and crocheting in front of the fire! I have also seen a pattern for those cute little kitten mittens and might even try to make my own pair this winter!  

Element Eden: Hi Summer 12

Element Eden have recently released their latest lookbook Hi Summer 12 and I am in love! I can't get enough of the pretty pastel colours, the lovely retro styled photos and that amazing pink hair! It feels as though the style for summer this year has been designed just for me! Every single lookbook that has been released so far this season makes my heart sing! 

In other news, I had my very last class for the semester today and I only have to finish one more assignment and then I'm free! I am super excited to finish this semester. I really can't wait to be able to spend full whole days sewing some pretty summer dresses! I'll be taking some inspiration from these pretty pics for sure!
