Today I have been flat out working on a nice big etsy order for Rockrose Handmade, an on-line store full of lovely handmade goods. This is the first time I have ever done a wholesale order so I am pretty excited about it! However, after a full day of sewing and making I am definitely pretty tired and ready to relax and I can't think of anything better then curling up to sleep on a pretty crocheted blanket in the warm afternoon sun.     

Tea Party

Here are a few pictures that I took from my tea party that I had the other day! It was such a fun day with lots of yummy treats to eat and heaps of delicious tea to drink. It was also really good to be able to catch up with some of my best friends! I had so much fun getting ready for this tea party and I would love to do it again some time soon!  

Dear Lolita

Friday is here at last... This week feels as though it has gone for ages! Which is good for me as I am on uni break at the moment. It has been quite stormy here this week and from the sound of the wind outside it seems as though it might be the same again today. I'm having a stay at home day today and so am looking forward to spending the last day of the break reading my book and drinking hot chocolate all day. I discovered these photos by Dear Lolita this morning and just love the comforting feel that they have. I love discovering pretty photography and I love having a place to share some of my finds.

Tea Party Goods

It is finally the eve of my long awaited tea party! Today I spent the majority of my day baking and doing a few last minute preparations. I wanted to share a few of the different things that I will be using at my tea party, so here are a few snaps. Some of the pretty things that I will be using include... some delicious T2 Tea, some pretty thrifted tea cups and saucers, the amazing two tier cake stand that Natalie got me for my birthday (she knows me so well!), some pretty paper straws and the party bunting that I made a few weeks ago. Now I'm about to go and do a little more baking and then after that I think I will finally be able to relax! 

My Birthday

Here are a few pictures of some of the gifts I got on my birthday. I had such a great day! Matt and my best friend Natalie surprised me by taking me on a road trip to Beauty Point (the place where Nat and I had a lot of our childhood holidays) and prepared a picnic for me with all of my favourite foods... Nat even made this amazing ice-cream sandwich slice which is one of my all time favourites! 

Matt gave me the amazing mustard fox book by Ask Alice Sationary and I am in love with it! It has over 300 blank pages for me to fill up with my thoughts and ideas! I have already started jotting all different kinds of things in it and I am really excited to see all the things I will have accumulated in it when it is filled up!

August Snaps

Here are a few snap shots I took on Instagram during the month of August. August has been a good month... I went op-shopping with Matt a lot and found the crocheted blanket, hankies and even that hidden bear tea cup for only $1.50! The days have started to become longer and the pretty blossoms have started to bloom. I also had my birthday in August and so I was very spoilt and had a lot of fun with some of my favourites.
