Milkbar is a new cafe + workshop that has opened up in Launceston and I can safely say it is my favourite place to go for coffee! It's full of vintage and retro goodness and even has a little shop/workshop area. Such an awesome idea! Here are some pictures... but I definitely recommend you go and take a look yourself!

Things to look forward to
This week has been such a busy/hectic week but at the same time it's been quite an exciting one! Here are some things that I have to look forward to at the moment:
- I have just booked flights to Melbourne in November with some good friends! YAY!
- Tomorrow is Saturday which means farmers market and milkbar cafe!
- I have started working on a new and exciting project that seems to be working out well so far!
- I'm hopefully going to attempt making some pretty teacup candles next week with a lovely friend!
- Just started reading the last book of the Hunger Games series and it's so good already!
- Lastly, after a dark, grey day it's finally starting to rain.... oh how I love the rain!

Pretty Teal
Here are some pretty teal finds that I have liked on instagram recently. I have to admit that I'm pretty addicted to instagram at the moment... there are so many beautiful snaps out there and I find it so easy to spend hours just browsing through them all! Some people are so talented!

We Love Autumn
As the end of semester is approaching fast, most of my spare time is spent working on assignments (I have worked out that I have six assignments to complete within the next two weeks!). So to get away from them for a bit and to let my brain have a rest, Matt and I decided to go to the farmers market again on Saturday morning.
I love going to the farmers market! It has such a nice, community atmosphere and it was surprising to see how much it has grown since it started at the beginning of the year! After we had worked around and tasted and bought a few things we decided to go to our favourite cafe, Milkbar for tea and coffee. If you live in Launceston and haven't visited Milkbar yet I totally recommend you do! It's amazing!
After that we walked to a near by park and took some photos of the amazing Autumn colours. Everything becomes so much more beautiful in Autumn and I love the fact that we can start to rug up and wear lots of layers finally! Definitely the best season!

Instagram Snaps
Here are some snaps that I have taken recently with my Instagram. I love this app so much and was so excited when it finally came to Android! I really like the idea of taking little snap shots of random, everyday happenings... If you would like to follow me, my username is @greylace.

Weekend Delights
Yay! The weekend is finally here! This weekend I have a few fun things planned... Firstly, tomorrow morning Matt and I are planning to go to the Harvest farmers market to taste some delicious local produce and have some yummy breakfast. Then we are finally going to go to have a look at the new milkbar cafe! I'm so excited to check it out!
Today I spent the day cleaning and re-organising my room and sewing space. It is so nice to have a fresh space to work in! It has inspired me to start making some new clothes for winter... hopefully I'll be able to get started on some new things tomorrow! But as for now it is time to relax in front of the fire with my book (reading The Hunger Games at the moment... SO GOOD!) and a nice cup of tea... Oh I love this time of year!

Inspiring Spaces
{decor8)
On Friday I am planning to clean/re-decorate my room and sewing space and so spent the rainy day today looking for some inspiration. I like the idea of 'mood boards'. I have made one before but might give it another go! Also, I'm going to try implement some new storage ideas as my room is pretty tiny and I'm getting sick of having things scattered everywhere! It should be fun! I love giving my space a nice fresh feel! It gives me a sense of accomplishment and I might even share some pictures of it when I'm done!
